Please contact me if you cannot find an answer to your question.
The Catechism of the Catholic Church states (2358) 'they [homosexuals] must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided.' I offer sessions which accept church teaching on marriage, ordination and charity and allow you to explore pastoral ministry for LGBT+ people.
LGBT+ Inclusion is necessary, not only in UK law and government guidance, but it is a part of our call to love our neighbours. There are many LGBT+ people in our Catholic schools who may feel unwelcome. Pope Francis has asked us to 'reach out to those on the peripheries' and has himself been inclusive to the LGBT+ community in his papal ministry.
There are many different ways I can offer support for you and your school. I offer staff training, student talks, reviews of policies and practices and more. Please check out the Services page. and get in touch.
